Sedgman has been awarded a landmark base metals project which benefits the NSW Goulburn region both environmentally and economically.

Following the completion of a project feasibility study and front end engineering design (FEED) Sedgman was awarded an EPC contract.  The scope of the EPC contract is for a 1.5 million tonne per annum mineral processing plant to enable the processing of both underground and tailings ore to produce zinc, copper and lead concentrates. Tailings re-processing involves treating the tailings deposit from the initial mine operation to extract concentrates and also facilitate remediation of the land which aligns with Sedgman’s sustainability principles.

For the project Sedgman will be providing engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning services as well as management of the earthworks contract on behalf of the client.
