The Dundas Ilmenite Project is a high-grade alluvial ilmenite operation located on the northern coastal shores of Greenland. The project has significant potential due to the quality of the ilmenite deposit, which is essential for the production of titanium dioxide. Following extensive exploration and large-scale piloting, Bluejay Mining initiated a detailed and integrated Pre-Feasibility Study to assess the viability of the project and its potential for long-term production.

Scope
Sedgman was engaged by Bluejay Mining to develop the mine feed and wet processing plant as part of the integrated Pre-Feasibility Study for the Dundas Ilmenite Project. Our team was responsible for designing the processing circuit and ensuring that the plant would be capable of efficiently processing the high-grade alluvial ilmenite feed.
Outcome
Sedgman’s work has contributed to the successful progression of the Dundas Ilmenite Project by providing a solid foundation for the mine feed and wet processing plant design. The Pre-Feasibility Study’s outcomes will assist Bluejay in moving the project forward, ensuring that it is positioned to meet the demand for high-quality ilmenite with a sustainable and efficient processing solution.
