Colina Lithium Project
Latin Resources Limited is advancing the development of the Colina Lithium Project, located in Brazil's pro-mining district of Minas Gerais. The project boasts a JORC Measured, Indicated, and Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate of 63.5 million tonnes at 1.3% Li₂O. The proposed operation involves establishing a standalone processing facility with an initial throughput of 1.5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa). This facility aims to produce high-quality spodumene concentrates using Dense Media Separation (DMS) and gravity separation techniques, targeting international lithium chemical conversion markets. Provisions are included in the design for future expansion to 3.6 Mtpa and the incorporation of additional processing stages, such as fines flotation.
