Byerwen Operations

The Byerwen Phase 1 CHPP O&M contract was awarded in October 2018 following the design and construction of the facility by Sedgman.

The Byerwen facility comprises a bypass crushing circuit, Sedgman designed and constructed 550 t/h CHPP facility and a Train Load-Out facility. The facility produces both metallurgical quality coal and thermal coal products.  The proposed Byerwen Phase 2 project is due to be completed, which will essentially duplicate the CHPP processing infrastructure at the Byerwen site.
