Sedgman’s China procurement hub supports competitive global sourcing through in-country supplier knowledge, prequalified fabrication workshops, tendering support, technical and commercial bid evaluation, supplier liaison, contract coordination, fabrication pathway review, QA/QC surveillance, expediting and logistics coordination. Working with engineering and delivery teams, the hub helps align supplier capability, fabrication quality, long lead item commitments and offshore supply options with project technical requirements, schedule milestones and site delivery needs. 

We support supply chain contract negotiation and administration so scope, technical requirements, commercial terms, schedule obligations and delivery responsibilities are clearly framed. This helps project teams manage supplier and subcontractor commitments from enquiry through award, execution and close-out.

We provide expediting and QA/QC support to improve visibility of supplier progress, fabrication status, inspection requirements and quality outcomes. We support materials supply and logistics management so goods, equipment and modules are planned, packed, shipped, tracked, received and made available in line with project needs. This can include logistics coordination, shipping documentation review, customs and transport interface management, delivery sequencing, storage requirements and site delivery planning.
